€1.6M now available for SMEs through the RESIST Open Calls

RESIST Eurocluster officially launches today, 13 May 2026, its Innovation Open Calls aimed at supporting SMEs in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem through innovation projects focused on net zero technologies and critical raw materials. The Open Calls will remain open from 13 May until 13 July 2026 at 17:00 CEST and applications must be submitted through the wiin.io platform.

Through this initiative, RESIST will provide €1.6 million in cascade funding to support SMEs developing innovative solutions contributing to the green, digital and resilient transformation of the European mobility ecosystem.

Two Open Calls available

SMEs can apply to two different funding opportunities:

  • Product & Service Innovation, focused on the development of innovative products, services and digital solutions for the mobility ecosystem
  • Process Innovation, focused on improving industrial processes, operational efficiency and manufacturing transformation

Companies can submit projects either individually or together with other SMEs in consortium. Individual applications may receive up to €20,000 in funding, while SMEs participating in collaborative projects can receive up to €30,000 each. Consortium proposals may involve up to three SMEs from different NUTS2 regions, encouraging cooperation between companies from different European regions.

In addition to financial support, participating SMEs will also benefit from training activities, technological services, coaching and mentoring opportunities, as well as networking and international collaboration opportunities across Europe. Selected projects will have a maximum implementation period of 9 months, with the first projects expected to start in October 2026.
