On 9 October, the kick-off meeting for the new Euroclusters projects took place in Brussels, bringing together coordinators and partners of the recently launched initiatives under the European Commission’s Euroclusters programme.
The RESIST II partners attended the event to present the project’s objectives and upcoming activities within the Mobility, Transport and Automotive (MTA) ecosystem. In addition, the partners took advantage of their presence in Brussels to hold their first internal kick-off meeting, officially marking the start of the project’s activities.
The RESIST II consortium is composed of five European clusters and one technology centre:
- CEAGA – Automotive and Mobility Cluster of Galicia (Spain)
- PVF – Pôle Véhicule du Futur (France)
- Autoklastr (Czech Republic)
- PGM – Polish Automotive Group (Poland)
- UAMC – Ukrainian Automotive and Mobility Cluster (Ukraine)
- CTAG – Automotive Technology Centre of Galicia (Spain)
The main objective of RESIST II is to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs by promoting innovation and the adoption of new technologies within the MTA ecosystem. To achieve this, the project will mobilise €1.6 million in cascade funding, supporting SMEs developing innovation projects in the fields of net-zero technologies and critical raw materials. Two open calls will be launched during the project: one focused on process innovations and other focused on product and service innovations.
SMEs will be able to receive up to €30,000 per call, with a maximum of €60,000 if they participate in both funding schemes.
RESIST II is co-funded by the European Commission under the Single Market Programme (SMP COSME) – Euroclusters initiative, which aims to reinforce industrial resilience, accelerate the green and digital transition, and foster cross-border collaboration among European clusters and SMEs.
